Dog daycare on Birch Walk.

A first visit, the odd daycare day, a regular routine or a calmer plan. Find the one that suits your dog and we’ll talk it through.

How daycare works here.

RifPaw is a dog daycare on Birch Walk in Northbridge. Every day is planned around company, play and proper rest, using the notes you give us.

Every dog starts with a first visit. After that, choose the odd daycare day, a regular weekly routine or a calmer plan built around their care notes. Not sure which? Call us and we’ll help you choose.

  • A first visit for every dog

We get to know your dog before their first full day.

  • Company that suits them

Time with the right dogs, chosen around how they enjoy company.

  • Proper midday rest

A quiet room and a soft bed in the middle of the day.

  • A chat at pickup

We tell you how their day went and anything worth knowing.

First daycare visit

Every dog starts here. You bring them in, we get to know each other and talk through how they enjoy company, when they like a break and what helps them settle.

It’s the easiest way to see whether daycare suits your dog, and it gives us the notes we need for every visit after.

What we’ll ask about

  • How they get on with other dogs
  • How they like to be handled
  • Their food and rest routine
  • Who will drop off and pick up

Daycare day

A full day of company, play and proper rest, for the days your schedule is packed. Drop off on the way to work and pick up on the way home.

Ideal once your dog has had a first visit and you need us now and then rather than every week.

What we’ll ask about

  • The date you have in mind
  • Your drop-off and pickup times
  • Anything that’s changed since their last visit
  • Food for the day, if they need it

Regular daycare

The same days each week, so your dog gets to know the routine, the room and the people. We plan their day around the notes you give us.

Tell us the weekdays you have in mind and your usual drop-off and pickup times, and we’ll talk it through.

Individual care discussion

For dogs who prefer a calmer day, need more rest or have care notes we should talk about first. We’ll plan a day that suits them.

Older dogs, shy dogs and dogs who find big groups a lot are all welcome to start with a conversation.

What we’ll ask about

  • How much company they enjoy
  • How often they need a rest
  • What helps them feel safe
  • Any care notes from home
